Feisty Maxine

Maxine was an energetic young pup, just so you know we're talking about a fight involving two canines.

Then she had Max. "Mother" and "Son" have mostly gotten on well together.

Several years ago Maxine was diagnosed with Liver Cancer and Bad Arthritis. It was only an immediate on-going diet containing Amazing Aloe Vera that can be credited for mending her body, vanquishing the illnesses, and considerably prologing her lifespan.

Maxine was 12 years old at the time of the Dog Attack (read next section below).

Maxine is still alive and well today, and it is a diet containing Aloe Vera that has saved her life time and time again, as you will see in this sample-excerpt from my Aloe Vera Cookbook, Cookin for Cures...

Maxine's Dog Attack

Maxine was attacked by a blue heeler dog, he bit her neck and her chest she also had several puncture marks from teeth bites on her ribs and stomach. I bathed her wounds three times a day and put pieces of Aloe Vera leaves over the two major wounds and held them in place with bandages.

This second picture was taken six days after the attack and her wounds were clean and the swelling around the bites is just the way the Aloe Vera helps it to heal up, yes the Aloe keeps the wound moist and this seems to help it heal quicker.

By day eight the hole itself has shrunk and the depth of the bite is nearly gone. She was very itchy and tried to pull her bandages off when I was not looking, sometimes she will hide the bandage in the couch trying to bury it in the cushions. I have to continually pat her to distract her from scratching them.

By day fifteen the wounds are completely healed and the scars are very minimal. Hard even for the eye to see. Aloe Vera truly is a great plant. Not only saving hundreds of dollars at the vets but minimal scaring is great for all. But it is very time consuming. What we do for our loved ones even our pets.
